This year’s celebration is even more special as we also proudly recognize two historic milestones: the 250th anniversary of America and the 80th anniversary of Jeep. These anniversaries reflect a shared legacy of strength, resilience, and innovation—values that align closely with our dealership’s mission and history.

The Anniversary Celebration will take place on September 23rd at 4:00 PM at our dealership, located at 278 Mansfield Ave, Shelby, OH 44875.

Buckeye Superstore was founded in 2006 by Ralph Mahalak Jr. and Steve Tetrick, with a vision of building a dealership rooted in family values and exceptional customer service. Over the years, that vision has grown into a trusted name in the region.

Today, leadership continues under General Manager Mark Ferguson, Sales & Finance Director Fred Barabani, and Ralph’s son, Matt Mahalak, who have taken ownership and continue to grow the business while staying true to its family-first foundation. Along with our owners, we have a great team whose dedication and hard work have helped make Buckeye Superstore what it is today, including our Office Manager, Beckie Sigars and Parts Manager, Jeff Potts who have been with us at Buckeye Superstore since day one.

As a family-owned dealership, Buckeye takes pride not only in serving customers but also in giving back. The dealership has played a meaningful role in the Shelby community—helping provide Thanksgiving dinners for local families, ensuring children receive gifts during the Christmas season, and supporting organizations such as the Richland County Dog Warden and Shelter, along with many other local charities and sponsorships.
