The Voyager name is back, having returned to the Chrysler brand. However, it might not be quite the same as you remember it. To, at the same time, simplify and expand the Chrysler catalog, the Voyager name will be taking over the lower L and LX trims of the Pacifica model upon the 2020 model year release of both minivan models.
This change accomplishes two distinct things.
First, it simplifies options for Pacifica drivers while positioning the Pacifica as a more luxurious minivan model due to its previously higher trim levels now functioning as the base-level entry point.
Second, it lets the newly-resurfaced Voyager model rebrand itself as a more value-centric minivan model without compromising the quality and flair of the Chrysler brand.
